The first is they distribute a coating product that is sprayed on house exteriors that is far more durable to traditional paint, lasting the lifetime of the house. The second is they distribute a basement finishing system. The firm has protected territories for both products. They use independent contractors to apply the house coating or install the basement finishing system. The company has a strong advertising, marketing and sales program that drives sales which have not diminshed during the recesssion. A new owner could increase sales significantly by expanding the advertising programs to areas in the company's protected markets that have not been tapped.
